Vintage Simon Henningsen Tivoli Pendant lamp for Lyfa Denmark, 1962
Diabolic constellation of chrome icicle wedges with multicolored interior facets to reflect and color light emanating from central bulb.
Designed for the exclusive Divan 2 restaurant in Denmark and later installed in the George Jensen 5th Avenue store in Manhattan. Exhibited at the Louvre in Paris in 1964
Simon Henningsen's most successful and famous design receiving a number of international prizes. Costly production of complicated lamp forced Lyfa to cease production of otherwise commercially successful lamp soon thereafter making this a relatively rare item.
