Vintage Midcentury Modern Fabricius Kastholm Arm Chair
Vintage lounger in Bone White leather by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm  
Designed in 1964 for Alfred Kill International, Denmark
Flawless all-original condition with healthy latex, supple leather and smooth swivel.
Sinuous profile results from clever construction with minimal mass. 
Contoured latex padding across fiberglass frame; covered in leather. 
Sculptural fiberglass frame utilizes high-tech reinforced fiberglass shell produced by Pavel Bone, former world Champion Kayaker and specialist in reinforced fiberglass.
Tailored look accentuated with removable padded leather jacket which slips onto three point design and provides added comfort without the bulk.  
Tripod base made of cast aluminum with integrated fixed feet echoes triad forms of seating and provides swivel option to fully appreciate widescreen interior spaces and outdoor views.
Chair variously referred to as “Tulip” and “Bird” chair as well as FK6725 and FK6726 depending upon version and source.
Compare this lounge version with with Tulip Desk Chair version pictured in the Habegger reference but with higher 17” seat ht.  
Here we have the lounger 14.25” seat ht.

Condition Details:
Excellent all original condition.  
No scuffs, tears or discoloration to original leather which remains supple and sturdy.
Base in perfect working order with smooth swivel action and no damage or noticeable surface wear.
